Lady Gaga is among the highest-earning musicians as she netted an estimated $62 million over the last year, from her 106-date world tour, record sales and partnering with some strong corporations.
The New York-born singer has debuted on the list this year at number 7 and came ahead of Madonna who earned $58 million. Lady Gaga is one of the few relatively youthful artists in the 2010 Forbes list of top-earning musicians.
U2 have been named the highest-earning band in the world over the last year raking in $130 million. U2's massive 360° Tour has helped the band to reach the top spot as the Irish legends made $10 million in ticket sales on each tour stop.
